This artwork by Gu Luo achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Ladies sold for HKD 23,000.00 (€ 2,280.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gu Luo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character And Landscape in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 483,000.00 (€ 47,280.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gu Luo erzielte im Mai 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Ladies für HKD 23.000,00 (€ 2.280,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gu Luo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Character And Landscape im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 483.000,00 (€ 47.280,30).
