In October last year Bonhams in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La place de l'Etoile by Gustave Loiseau. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 34,320.00 (€ 39,982.42), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Loiseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 774,000.00 (€ 685,744.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La place de l'Etoile von Gustave Loiseau zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 34.320,00 (€ 39.982,42) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Loiseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 774.000,00 (€ 685.744,66).
