This artwork by Gustave Loiseau achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May last year. In the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction, the work Les bords de l'Oise sold for GBP 69,300.00 (€ 81,524.85) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Loiseau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 774,000.00 (€ 685,744.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gustave Loiseau erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso wurde die Arbeit Les bords de l'Oise für GBP 69.300,00 (€ 81.524,85) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Loiseau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 774.000,00 (€ 685.744,66).
