Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Abstract by Hafidh al-Droubi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part II auction at Christies in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,980.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hafidh al-Droubi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kadhimain Alley, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,639.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Abstract von Hafidh al-Droubi wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, Part II bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.980,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hafidh al-Droubi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kadhimain Alley beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.639,94) versteigert wurde.
