In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Aynhoe Park - A Modern Grand Tour, which included the work Head Shot by Halliday Avray-Wilson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,952.90), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Halliday Avray-Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shot Torso, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,102.01).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Aynhoe Park - A Modern Grand Tour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head Shot von Halliday Avray-Wilson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.952,90) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Halliday Avray-Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shot Torso beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.102,01) versteigert wurde.
