Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'China' chair by Hans J. Wegner was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 30,480.00 (€ 3,576.68). Admittedly, works by Hans J. Wegner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Set of six 'The Chair' armchairs, model no. JH503 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,129.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'China' chair von Hans J. Wegner kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 30.480,00 (€ 3.576,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans J. Wegner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Set of six 'The Chair' armchairs, model no. JH503 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.129,95).
