Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper, which included the work Leisure Place by Hao Liang. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hao Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poison Buddha 2 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Leisure Place von Hao Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hao Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48).
