A top price for Hao Liang
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Poison Buddha 2 by Hao Liang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48), 70% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Poison Buddha 2 the most expensive artwork by Hao Liang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 von Hao Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Poison Buddha 2 zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Hao Liang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
