Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Haroshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in September 2021. In the INTERSECT: Online Auction auction, the work BE@RBRICK x KARIMOKU (400%) sold for HKD 151,200.00 (€ 16,769.53) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Haroshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work D (Build and Destroy), which sold at auction in August 2020 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 62,835.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Haroshi erzielte im September 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit BE@RBRICK x KARIMOKU (400%) für HKD 151.200,00 (€ 16.769,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Haroshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit D (Build and Destroy) beobachtet, die im August 2020 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 62.835,12) versteigert wurde.
