Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Nude by Harry Holland. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 895.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Holland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bar in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,782.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Harry Holland zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 895,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Holland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bar im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.782,64).
