It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,271.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Admittedly, works by He Huaishou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).

Die Arbeit Thoughts Of Old Time Ii von He Huaishou wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.271,57) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Huaishou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
