In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by He Huaishou. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,586.80), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by He Huaishou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von He Huaishou zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.586,80) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Huaishou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
