This artwork by He Sen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. In the FIRST OPEN | Shanghai auction, the work LISTEN TO THE PINES UNDER THE MOON sold for CNY 102,000.00 (€ 12,778.52) - well above the upper estimate of CNY 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Sen erzielte im September 2018 bei Christies in Shanghai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai wurde die Arbeit LISTEN TO THE PINES UNDER THE MOON für CNY 102.000,00 (€ 12.778,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CNY 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
