The price achieved of EUR 5,148.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hendrik Frans de Cort achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of Chelsea Farm With The Thames And Battersea Bridge in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 83,650.00 (€ 120,330.07).
