Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work Tête de femme au collier by Henri Laurens. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,198.59). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Laurens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boxeur in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 2,055,000.00 (€ 2,292,195.94).
