Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les huîtres de Belon by Henri Manguin was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,902.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Manguin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Oliviers À Cavalière in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,150,000.00 (€ 1,032,779.52).
