Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2001 Christies in London held the auction Victorian Pictures, which included the work The Sultana by Henry Nelson O'Neil. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,110.00 (€ 9,722.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Nelson O'Neil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Home Again, 1858 in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 553,750.00 (€ 877,761.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sultana von Henry Nelson O'Neil zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.110,00 (€ 9.722,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Nelson O'Neil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Home Again, 1858 im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 553.750,00 (€ 877.761,92).
