Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work GINGER SUGAR by Hideki Kimura. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,136.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Hideki Kimura have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Fall Maker 3 was auctioned for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,976.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit GINGER SUGAR von Hideki Kimura zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.136,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hideki Kimura konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Fall Maker 3 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.976,95) versteigert.
