Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Posada by Horacio Rentería Rocha was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 8,836.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Horacio Rentería Rocha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two Portraits (Boy in Uniform and Girl with Flowers), which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,133.68).

Die Arbeit Posada von Horacio Rentería Rocha kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 8.836,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
