Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Marks Mountain Spirit No.9 (Diptych) by Huang Zhiyang was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art : Journey auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 25,006.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Huang Zhiyang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Lover'S Library Series (Set Of Two) Nadja + Peter; Autumn + Jack was auctioned for HKD 391,500.00 (€ 34,907.04).

Die Arbeit Three Marks Mountain Spirit No.9 (Diptych) von Huang Zhiyang wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art : Journey bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 25.006,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Huang Zhiyang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Lover'S Library Series (Set Of Two) Nadja + Peter; Autumn + Jack für HKD 391.500,00 (€ 34.907,04) versteigert.
