Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still life with China Bottle(Painted in 1934) by Hubert Vos was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 322,000.00 (€ 29,948.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hubert Vos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gifts From Empress Cixi I, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 667,000.00 (€ 77,085.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still life with China Bottle(Painted in 1934) von Hubert Vos kam im April 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 322.000,00 (€ 29.948,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hubert Vos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gifts From Empress Cixi I beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 667.000,00 (€ 77.085,65) versteigert wurde.
