Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Spanish gitana Florista by Ignacio Zuloaga for USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,273.79). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Zuloaga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spanish gitana Florista von Ignacio Zuloaga für USD 93.750,00 (€ 85.273,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ignacio Zuloaga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 832.646,34).
