Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ecuyère Dans Un Cirque by Irène Lagut was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Irène Lagut have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arlequin et chien in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ecuyère Dans Un Cirque von Irène Lagut wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Irène Lagut auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arlequin et chien im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
