Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Springbok by Jaap Gidding was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2006. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Gidding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Underwater in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 5,040.00.

Die Arbeit Springbok von Jaap Gidding kam im November 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Gidding auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Underwater im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.040,00.
