Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Blue And White Grapes, Together With Wild Strawberries, All In A Basket, On A Wooden Ledge by Jacob van Es was sold in the Old Master paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2009. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacob van Es have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With A Fish On A Terracotta Plate, Bunches Of Asparagus, Artichokes And Cherries In A Scalloped Dish, Together With Half A Cheese In A Basket, Bread Rolls, Fraises De Bois, Lemons, Oranges And Crabs All Arranged On A Table Top in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 104,723.03).

Die Arbeit Still Life Of Blue And White Grapes, Together With Wild Strawberries, All In A Basket, On A Wooden Ledge von Jacob van Es wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Old Master paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
