Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Corporate rise by James Doolin was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 746.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Doolin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twilight in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 14,201.86).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 746,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Doolin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twilight im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 14.201,86).
