Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Touch The Marble (From The Hajj Series) by Jamshid Bayrami was auctioned at Sothebys in Doha in April 2013. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,644.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jamshid Bayrami - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the Line of Devotion, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).

Die Arbeit Touch The Marble (From The Hajj Series) von Jamshid Bayrami kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.644,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jamshid Bayrami mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In the Line of Devotion beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81) versteigert wurde.
