Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work A Boy And A Dog With A Still Life Of Game, In A Park Landscape by Jan Weenix for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,617.03). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Jan Weenix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A sunflower, roses, parrot tulips, a carnation and other flowers in a glass vase on a partly draped marble table in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 135,750.00 (€ 219,505.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Boy And A Dog With A Still Life Of Game, In A Park Landscape von Jan Weenix für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.617,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
