This artwork by Jason Martin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in February 2021. In the British. Cool. auction, the work Shangri-La, 2010 sold for GBP 21,500.00 (€ 24,796.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jason Martin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origin in July this year with an auction result of GBP 114,300.00 (€ 133,353.46).
