The work Buste de lutin by Jean (Hans) Arp was sold in the Art Impressionniste & Moderne auction at Christies in Paris in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 604,800.00 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jean (Hans) Arp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Déméter in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,825,000.00 (€ 5,144,396.36).

Die Arbeit Buste de lutin von Jean (Hans) Arp wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Art Impressionniste & Moderne bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 604.800,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean (Hans) Arp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Déméter im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.825.000,00 (€ 5.144.396,36).
