Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of a Native Girl by Jean Despujols was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 24,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,864.77). Admittedly, works by Jean Despujols have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna and child in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 12,112.50 (€ 14,204.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a Native Girl von Jean Despujols kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 24.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.864,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean Despujols auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Madonna and child im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.112,50 (€ 14.204,42).
