Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean Fautrier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Nude sold for EUR 8,190.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Fautrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pièges (Traps) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 4,522,500.00 (€ 5,312,772.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean Fautrier erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Nude für EUR 8.190,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Fautrier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pièges (Traps) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.522.500,00 (€ 5.312.772,50).
