In June 2014 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Art, which included the work La parisienne by Jean-Gabriel Domergue. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,997.81), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Gabriel Domergue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les danseuses de French Cancan in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 164,500.00 (€ 129,588.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La parisienne von Jean-Gabriel Domergue zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.997,81) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Gabriel Domergue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les danseuses de French Cancan im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 164.500,00 (€ 129.588,78).
