Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jean-Michel Atlan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Guardaia sold for EUR 189,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jean-Michel Atlan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aboda Zara sold at auction in December 2017 with the realized price of EUR 249,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jean-Michel Atlan erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Guardaia für EUR 189.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jean-Michel Atlan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Aboda Zara im Dezember 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 249.000,00.
