Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2020 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Rayures X - 1976 by Jean-Michel Meurice. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,370.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Michel Meurice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (2 Corner Pieces) in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 30,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2020 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rayures X - 1976 von Jean-Michel Meurice zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.370,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jean-Michel Meurice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (2 Corner Pieces) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.240,00.
