Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Joan Miró could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work “Les Revolutions Sceniques du XX Siecles II” changed hands for DKK 460.00 (€ 61.70) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Miró konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit “Les Revolutions Sceniques du XX Siecles II” für DKK 460,00 (€ 61,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
