Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Torse by Joan Miró was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2006. It achieved a price of USD 1,080,000.00 (€ 814,418.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Torse von Joan Miró kam im November 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.080.000,00 (€ 814.418,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
