Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage de campagne au troupeau by Jan van der Bent was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,570.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan van der Bent have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A capriccio of a Mediterranean harbour with elegant travellers, a moor and an oriental merchants, and other figues in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 18,800.00 (€ 30,399.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage de campagne au troupeau von Jan van der Bent kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.570,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan van der Bent auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A capriccio of a Mediterranean harbour with elegant travellers, a moor and an oriental merchants, and other figues im Juli 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.800,00 (€ 30.399,35).
