Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Startup - 1958-59 by John Franklin Koenig was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,210.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John Franklin Koenig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ucello Bernardino - 1957, which sold at auction in April 2015 for EUR 6,240.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Startup - 1958-59 von John Franklin Koenig wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.210,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von John Franklin Koenig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ucello Bernardino - 1957 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für EUR 6.240,00 versteigert wurde.
