Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Living World Series by Ju Ming was sold in the No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2021. The price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,444.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Taichi Series - Single Whip in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 20,820,000.00 (€ 1,922,718.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Living World Series von Ju Ming wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion No Regrets: Modern and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.444,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Taichi Series - Single Whip im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 20.820.000,00 (€ 1.922.718,86).
