Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale, which included the work L.A. Gear by Julia Dault. The price achieved of GBP 3,072.00 (€ 3,538.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,600.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Julia Dault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L.A. Gear von Julia Dault zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.072,00 (€ 3.538,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.600,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Dault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14).
