Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maisons rurales en hiver by Julio González was auctioned at Christies in Paris in March last year. The price achieved of EUR 5,670.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio González achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Masque 'Ombre Et Lumière' in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,633,250.00 (€ 5,457,580.86).

Die Arbeit Maisons rurales en hiver von Julio González kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.670,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio González erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Masque 'Ombre Et Lumière' im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.633.250,00 (€ 5.457.580,86).
