Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysanne au panier by Julio González was sold in the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,743.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio González achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Masque 'Ombre Et Lumière' in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 4,633,250.00 (€ 5,457,580.86).
