Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Clouds and Plants by Junko Frank was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 250.00 (€ 220.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200.00 – 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Junko Frank - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poudre de fougère, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 750.00 (€ 662.37).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 250,00 (€ 220,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Junko Frank mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poudre de fougère beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 750,00 (€ 662,37) versteigert wurde.
