The work Minnie by Katherine Bernhardt was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. It achieved a price of HKD 762,000.00 (€ 89,222.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Admittedly, works by Katherine Bernhardt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 373,972.60).

Die Arbeit Minnie von Katherine Bernhardt kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 762.000,00 (€ 89.222,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katherine Bernhardt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.150.000,00 (€ 373.972,60).
