In the From Artist to Woodblock: Japanese Prints Online auction, the work Sato Tadanobu sold for USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,023.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katsukawa Shunei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Sumo Wrestlers in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,394.03).

In der Auktion From Artist to Woodblock: Japanese Prints Online wurde die Arbeit Sato Tadanobu für USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.023,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katsukawa Shunei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Sumo Wrestlers im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.394,03).
