The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,518.49), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Katsukawa Shunei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Sumo Wrestlers in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,394.03).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.518,49) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katsukawa Shunei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Sumo Wrestlers im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.394,03).
