Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Graphicstudio Online, which included the work Cycas revoluta bulbil by Keith Edmier. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,361.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Edmier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Regia (Second Night Bloom) in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,941.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Graphicstudio Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cycas revoluta bulbil von Keith Edmier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.361,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Edmier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Victoria Regia (Second Night Bloom) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 63.941,37).
