Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (Lil Keith) by Keith Haring. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,276,000.00 (€ 350,747.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Lil Keith) von Keith Haring zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.276.000,00 (€ 350.747,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
