This artwork by Keith Vaughan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October last year. In the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Blackmore End I sold for GBP 47,880.00 (€ 55,779.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Vaughan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sixth Assembly of Figures in May last year with an auction result of GBP 705,600.00 (€ 830,071.23).
